About the Position:
WWF Cameroon is recruiting a Consultant to conduct an institutional assessment of cooperatives and a baseline study on the decent income gap of cooperative members in the Tridom-Cameroon Landscape. The consultant will be responsible for assessing the legal compliance, governance structures, financial transparency, and capacity building needs of selected cooperatives, as well as conducting a study to determine the baseline living income gap among cooperative members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct institutional assessments of selected cooperatives, covering legal compliance, governance, financial transparency, membership, and capacity building needs.
- Conduct a baseline study to assess the living income gap among cooperative members.
- Compile separate reports for each cooperative assessed.
Qualifications and Expertise:
- Senior consultant with extensive experience in institutional assessment of cooperatives in Cameroon.
- Familiarity with the criteria and definitions of the Living Income Community of Practice.
- Previous experience in conducting similar baseline studies in Cameroon.
- Thorough understanding of applicable legal frameworks and procedures.
